To my family, friends, supporters and fellow Democrats,
I want to thank you for the support you have shown me during the last several months as I began exploration of campaigning for the 103rd New York State Assembly seat.
I believe that New York needs to move ahead, to help families and to help communities recover from recent devastating policies. Now, more than ever, the middle class needs a strong voice in Albany.
But that voice will not be mine. After much deliberation and soul-searching, I have decided not to pursue the Assembly position at this time.
I will continue, as always, to be an active volunteer and leader in the Democratic Party, and will support, with enthusiasm, any candidate put forth by the Democrats.
